Accuro Biologics Ltd and MilleGen SA enter into a collaborative agreement

ABERDEEN, UK -- 16 May, 2008 -- Accuro Biologics Ltd, a privately held biotechnology services company specialising in advanced protein engineering technologies, expression clone development and immunogenicity (T cell epitope) evaluation studies, and MilleGen SA, a biotech company focused on Directed Molecular Evolution (DME) and committed to the research and development of human therapeutic antibodies announced today that they have entered into a strategic collaboration. The agreement brings together MilleGen’s DME platform MutaGenTM and Accuro Biologics know-how and expert capabilities in antibody engineering and T cell epitope identification. The collaboration will allow the generation of a new and innovative platform directed towards the development of therapeutic antibody candidates with superior and significantly enhanced properties.
