Protein Engineering

In addition to Antibody Engineering, our team has experience in manipulating other types of protein molecules including cytokines, fusion proteins and receptor molecules.

Our team can undertake Protein Engineering projects such as the design and construction of variant proteins with improved immunogenicity risk profiles or other significant properties. Where required, such programmes can be integrated with T cell epitope mapping studies.

Typical projects may entail gene construction, expression in mammalian cell lines and testing of protein variants in cellular or other biological assay systems.

We have experience in developing assay systems for protein function and quantitiation.

Protein Engineering and assay development projects are bespoke services but can be integrated with Cell Line Development and Immunogenicity Profiling projects.
